Well the sun shone on us again as we marched along the promenade to to Lamont Memorial where we held a nice wee service to the memory of those massacred in 1646.
We were shadowed all the way by a member of the Local Lamont society, but for what reason I do not know, as they have been invited in the past to join us and declined to do so. Strange.

Well, at least one Lamont was approving of the commemoration. I fail to understand their reluctance to take part in any of the ceremonies. Makes no sense to me, whatsoever.

It makes as much sense as the House of Donald overlooking a commemoration at Glencoe.
